About
Priscilla Peach Lang is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a board certified Herbalist by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, in 2016, from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, now known as Pacific Collage of Health and Science. For her masters degree, Priscilla spent over 3500 classroom hours training in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology, Biomedicine, and Oriental Medicine Theory. During her education, she worked as a senior intern, spending over 1000 clinic hours, treating patients under the supervision of highly educated acupuncturists; whom not only instruct parts of the program, but also run and operate their own clinics. Acquiring her Doctorate degree helped her gain in-depth knowledge on integrative medicine, systems-based medicine, research literacy, and evidence-informed practice. These collaborative tools are important for assessing patients and allows Priscilla to be able to work with a variety of other practitioners in an integrated fashion to provide the safest and most effective treatments for all her patients.
Priscilla is an experienced registered yoga teacher, and has been teaching for over 15 years. In 2010, Priscilla completed a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certification in Hatha yoga, and began helping people find movement and breath together in their body. She has since studied in Universal Yoga, and has a dedicated personal practice. She believes the connection between the mind and body is the breath, and enjoys helping others find this connection.
In 2016 Priscilla completed her 300 hour Biodynamic Cadiovascular Therapist training, and is an advanced certified Biodynamic Cardiovascular Therapist. She uses this work to promote the understanding of embodiment in order to help her patients find decompression in their nervous systems.
Along with cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, and tui na (all traditional Chinese medicine modalities), Priscilla has studied with Acutonics, and uses tuning forks in her treatments plans. This can be very useful for those nervous of needles, or younger children that need therapy, but maybe too sensitive for the insertion of a needle. Priscilla enjoys having many tools she can access to create a customized treatment plan for every individual.
Priscilla’s greatest joy is being able to provide multiple tools and resources for health and longevity. Her experience and rigorous education allows her to treat a variety of chief complaints, meeting each individual where they are on their healing journey, and customizing treatments to meet their specific needs.
Priscilla currently teaches yoga at the Wood River Recreational Center. She loves being active in her community promoting health and wellness.
